To Everyone Who
Walked This Road With Me

Well... we did it.

Not in the way we hoped, of course, but we did something that a lot of people said couldn't be done. Thousands of conversations. Thousands of miles on the road. Hundreds upon hundreds of signatures. Town halls, county meetings, late nights, early mornings, and countless people willing to take a chance on an ordinary working-class guy.

And for that, I owe you my sincere thanks.

Some of you donated five dollars. Some of you donated much more. Some of you volunteered your time, gathered signatures, put up with the weather, or simply stopped me to say, "Keep going." Every single one of those moments mattered.

This campaign was never backed by billionaires, corporate PACs, or political machines. It was powered by people who believed they deserved to be heard. That belief carried me through every setback and every obstacle we encountered along the way.

I wish I could have done more. I wish I could have knocked on more doors, shaken more hands, and earned more trust. That's on me. But I don't regret trying for a second.

The election is over, but the problems facing working families, farmers, small businesses, and our rural communities didn't disappear when the votes were counted. Neither should our willingness to speak up.

So thank you for believing in this campaign. Thank you for believing in me. Most importantly, thank you for believing that ordinary people can still stand up and demand better.

Wherever life takes me next, that belief isn't changing.

#NoHalfMeasures.

Policy: 6 Core Issues

Here's what We're fighting for:

Medicare for All
  • Universal Care for Every American: Create a single-payer healthcare program that includes vision and dental.
  • Keep Rural Hospitals Open: Ensure every Iowan has access to care close to home.
  • Lower Prescription Costs: Cap drug prices and end Big Pharma’s monopoly on life-saving medicine.
  • Protect Seniors: Strengthen Medicare and Social Security for future generations.
  • Healthcare as a Right: Guarantee quality care for all, not just the wealthy.
Get Money Out Of Politics
  • End Citizens United: Amend the Constitution to make clear that money is not speech.
  • Reject Corporate PAC Money: Run a campaign powered by people, not billionaires.
  • Break Big Ag and Wall Street Control: Put Iowa families ahead of out-of-state special interests.
  • Transparency in Government: Pass reforms that ensure accountability at every level.
  • Reclaim Democracy: Guarantee that our government works for people, not corporations.
Workers' Rights & Economic Empowerment
  • Empower Labor: Strengthen unions and expand bargaining rights.
  • Fair Wages for All: Raise the minimum wage and tie it to inflation.
  • Support Worker Co-ops: Invest in cooperatives that keep wealth in local communities.
  • Revitalize Local Economies: Ensure Iowa workers share in the prosperity they create.
  • Protect Family Farms: Push back against corporate consolidation in agriculture.
Protecting Iowa's Land, Water and Farms
  • Hold Polluters Accountable: Stop CAFOs and Big Ag from poisoning our water and air.
  • Safe Drinking Water: End nitrate and chemical contamination in our rivers and wells.
  • Support Family Farmers: Create fair markets and fight corporate consolidation.
  • Invest in Clean Energy: Make Iowa a national leader in wind and solar power.
  • Protect Natural Resources: Safeguard our rivers, lakes, and soil for future generations.
  • Build Strong Rural Economies: Grow local food systems, regenerative farming, and community jobs.
Ending the Debt Trap
  • Cancel Crushing Debt: End the burden of student loan and medical debt.
  • Tuition-Free Education: Make college and trade schools accessible to every American.
  • Job Training Without Debt: Expand opportunities for Iowans to learn new skills.
  • Fund Relief Fairly: Impose a modest tax on Wall Street speculation to invest in people.
  • Build Iowa’s Future: Free young Iowans to buy homes, start families, and grow our economy.
Protecting Women's Rights and Freedom
  • Defend Reproductive Freedom: Protect the right to choose and access abortion care.
  • Expand Rural Healthcare: Increase access to maternal and women’s health services.
  • Protect Medical Privacy: Keep politicians out of personal healthcare decisions.
  • Equality for All: Safeguard LGBTQ+ rights and defend equal justice under the law.
  • Freedom and Dignity: Ensure every Iowan can make their own choices about health and family.

This campaign isn’t about a career. It’s about a moment.

Why I'm Running

I'm Xavier Carrigan, running for US House in Iowa's 3rd District. I'm a Educator, not a politician. And I think that matters.

We need to stop treating representation like a career and start treating it like what it is: planting a garden. You grow strong. You produce. You leave seeds for the next generation.

But at some point, you make room for new growth.

I'm not here to build a political career. I'm here to serve my season and plant seeds for real change. #NoHalfMeasures #LetsDoThis.

What
We’re Building Together

For too long, decisions have been made without us. This campaign is about taking that power back. Our community, strong, resilient, and fiercely independent, deserves better. We stand for a future where every Iowan, and every American is protected and empowered.

Picture
We organize around a few core fights:
  • Social Safety & Security: We will protect Medicare, Social Security, and every vital social safety net that keeps our communities safe.
  • Equality & Justice: Gay and Trans rights are human rights. We fight for due process and equality for everyone, regardless of who you love or how you identify.
  • Economic Empowerment: We’re fighting billionaires and oligarchs who have bought our government. It’s time to get money out of politics and reclaim power for the people.
  • Investing in Our Future: Universal healthcare, free college and trade schools, and the end of crushing student and medical debt aren’t just policies, they’re necessities.
  • Workers’ Rights: By championing the PRO Act, raising the minimum wage, and supporting 12-week paid family and sick leave, we’ll ensure that every hardworking Iowan earns what they deserve.
  • A Healthy Environment: Climate change is real, and so is our commitment to combating it. We will fight for a sustainable future that protects our land and our livelihoods.
This campaign is about unity and progress, transcending party lines. It’s about fighting for what’s right and ensuring that government works for everyone, not just the wealthy few. Join us in building a fairer, more inclusive Iowa for all. Together, we’ll turn hope into action and secure a brighter future for our communities
This is how we stay independent

No Billionaires.
No Corporate PACs.
No Outside Control.

The Xavier Carrigan for Iowa campaign will only accept donations from individual citizens, making us beholden to our constituency. Corporate America already has enough representation on Capitol Hill, and Xavier believes the only way to bring the voice of Iowa to the national stage is by being beholden only to his constituency. Every dollar counts in this grassroots effort! Please consider donating, or volunteering, today!
