I'm Xavier Carrigan, running for US House in Iowa's 3rd District. I'm a Educator, not a politician. And I think that matters.
We need to stop treating representation like a career and start treating it like what it is: planting a garden. You grow strong. You produce. You leave seeds for the next generation. But at some point, you make room for new growth. I'm not here to build a political career. I'm here to serve my season and plant seeds for real change. #NoHalfMeasures #LetsDoThis. |
Policy: 6 Core Issues
I am running for Congress because working people in Iowa deserve leaders who fight for them, not for billionaires, lobbyists, or party insiders. My campaign is built on the belief that government should protect our health, our freedoms, and our future. These are the core issues I will champion to put Iowans first.

IMPEACHMENT, Now!
The Test of Our Time.
In just 152 days, Donald Trump has committed more impeachable offenses than many presidents commit in a full term. The recent unprovoked bombing of Iran, ordered without Congressional authorization, is a flagrant violation of the War Powers Resolution and the Constitution. It was an illegal act of war, bypassing the legislative branch and destabilizing the region.
But this is only the tip of a deep, dangerous iceberg.
Trump has repeatedly and willfully violated the Emoluments Clauses, profiting from foreign governments, federal contracts, and domestic subsidies while in office. He has federalized unidentified agents under ICE and Homeland Security to detain legal immigrants and even U.S. citizens, without due process. These are actions chillingly aligned with authoritarian regimes.
And the list of constitutional violations only grows:
This is not about policy disagreements. This is about preserving the Constitution.
We are in a fight against fascism, not metaphorically, not theoretically, but factually. If you are running for office and this is not your first priority, then you are not ready for this moment. If you're playing it safe, avoiding the word “impeachment” for political convenience, then you are failing the people you claim to represent.
History is not watching from a distance, it is watching now.
Our children, our neighbors, and our future will judge us on whether we rose up or sat down, whether we called this what it is or diluted the truth for partisan comfort.
We don’t need more politicians, we need leaders.
The time for caution is over. The time for impeachment is now.

These are actions chillingly aligned with authoritarian regimes.
And the list of constitutional violations only grows:
- Eroding ethics safeguards by firing inspectors general and hollowing out oversight bodies
- Defying court orders, ignoring judicial rulings on immigration and civil liberties
- Unilaterally declaring emergencies and using war powers, without congressional checks
- Politicizing federal agencies, purging dissenters and replacing them with loyalists
- Abusing the pardon power to protect political allies and encourage criminal loyalty
- Violating appropriations law, re-routing congressionally allocated funds
- Bypassing Senate confirmation, installing unvetted "acting" officials to carry out extreme policies
- Withdrawing from treaties and reshaping foreign policy through unilateral action
- Undermining the rule of law at every turn, operating as if the presidency is above it
This is not about policy disagreements. This is about preserving the Constitution.
